Christmas

It's been such a fun month - full of Christmas activities with family and friends.  Anthony and I took the girls to the downtown Christmas parade and Caroline was not a fan of the sirens on the emergency vehicles.  I don't blame you Caroline - I'm not a fan of parades either!

My mom gave the girls this Candy House for Christmas, it's a plastic house that you can decorate for different holidays without all the fuss of constructing one on your own.  The girls were very into it - and it's a good thing it's plastic to hold the amount of candy they loaded on it.  We also took home first place at The Powell's annual gingerbread party with our "happy Rudolph" as Caroline named it.  Her rendition of "Rudolph the red nosed reindeer" might have clenched the win for us.  No pictures - it was too crazy!

One thing we've enjoyed doing is walking down the street to see the blow-up decorations in our neighbors yard.  Even in the middle of the day when they know they aren't blown up they ask to walk down there.  Last week we were standing in front of her house and all of a sudden the lights came on and everything started blowing up - the girls were thrilled!  As soon as we walked away I saw everything deflating.  What a sweet neighbor to make June & Caroline so happy.
