O Christmas Tree

 The girls have been super excited about Christmas for a couple of weeks now.  June asked me every morning for about a week, "Is Christmas ready yet?" and she would tell people she saw, "Christmas is coming up soon."  It is going to be a fun, magical and meaningful Christmas in our house this year and I think I'm just as excited as they are. 

The trip to the tree lot on Friday was fun, here the girls are admiring the final pick.

 June and Caroline have a tree in their room this year which has ornaments on it from my childhood as well as some new ones that they have already collected for themselves.  They had more fun playing with the ornaments than actually hanging them up, but the finished product looks pretty good. 

Here they are admiring all their hard work.  I have caught June several times just sitting in her rocking chair looking at the tree.
