this, is big bear. and the girls love him. ask who lives at granna and pop pop's house and big bear is #1 on the list. a few weekends ago daddy had big bear waiting outside for all the kids, here he is with cousin carter, seriously, the bear is huge.
we've had the 4 cousins all sitting at a little table during meals and it is so stinking cute. they are hilarious together and love each other so much.
speaking of cousin love - look at these crazies in the kitchen. i'm pretty sure the excitement was for chocolate milk and cookies...
we had a joint shelley/daddy bday dinner a few weekends ago, i promise we do feed them real food while they're here, not just cookies and cake, but that's the fun stuff so that's what i usually have pics of.
i love this pic - they are so sweet together.
same chair, different entertainment. these girls love some pop pop, which let's be honest, we all do. he's the best dad/grandfather a girl could want!
mom bought crowns and wands for the dress up trunk and once the girls found them i think they wore them the rest of the day. granna knows how to make little girls happy!
we took the kids to an ncsu tailgate for their first football experience, don't they look great in their red and white? i think we're getting a glimpse into the future. mom and dad are so in love with these kiddos - but let's be real, we all are.
caroline tore up the fried shrimp and chocolate cake, and yep, she did eat them both at the same time. she is so sassy, i love it. ask her what aunt leslie calls her next time you see her.
you never know how kids will react to people in costumes, caroline and hannah wouldn't go near mr. wolf at all, and june and carter finally would with uncle d, but you can see they never took their eyes off him - i guess wolves do get a bad rap in fairy tales though.
this pic i had to post because i laughed so hard when i saw it, have you ever seen a girl so exhausted? at this point she was obviously beyond feeling any love for us or the wolfpack. i promise she did go to the house and take a nap right after this was taken.
anthony had a work conference for a week up here so the thomas crew all came to raleigh - i took a day off and mom, sister, and i took the girls to hillridge farms in youngsville for the morning. we played and took a hay ride and had a picnic and good times were had by all.
i love this picture of june - these girls love a bounce house.
they also had a corn house - a little shack filled with a few inches of corn, i couldn't make that up. think of a sand box with corn and you've got the idea.
we took a train ride around the farm with some pretzel sticks and saw these huge hay bales that they had painted with fall items and old farm tools, unfortunately i forgot to take a picture of them so you'll have to trust me that they existed.
after our picnic lunch we took a hay ride and went to "pick" a pumpkin - i'm not sure that a field with pumpkins laying everywhere counts as picking, especially since they still had price tags on them, but it did feel super fall-ish. june was in love with this pumpkin and didn't put it down until we got to the car.
there are about a million more pics from the past few months that i didn't show - d and i are extremely thankful we live so close to our family (sometimes upstairs from them..) and for all the time we get together!
