We went to Surf City for a few days last week and although we didn't have the best beach weather, we had a wonderful time being together away from our day-to-day responsibilities. We played at the local park, collected sea shells, visited the pier, took family walks and just played together inside the beach house (June & Caroline may have been more excited about the beach house than the actual beach, they're still talking about it). Here they are enjoying the beautiful view from the porch while eating a snack.
We spent most of our time on the beach in long pants and sweat shirts, but it didn't stop June from enjoying herself or the water. I let Anthony "enjoy" the water with her while Caroline and I cuddled on the sand.
