This was my attempt to get a picture of the two of them together on the glider. At six months I was able to get some really sweet shots, but you can tell a lot has changed. No children were hurt in the making of these photos.

One year
The week of the girls' first birthday was such a sweet time, it was so neat to think about all that had changed in one year - the hardest and best year of my life. We had a small party for them the weekend before their birthday, which I have no pictures of. I know other people took pictures but I have failed to collect them. These pictures are from their actual birthday, and round 2 of cake. The first round at the party they were a little shy, but by their birthday they had definitely warmed up to dessert.
